Dealing With Islamists
The Muslim world is where the true meaning of Islam can be found in practice. Islam – not any alleged deviant form of it – means misogyny, censorship, anti-Semitism, homophobia, wife-beatings, beheadings, honor killings, pedophilia/“child marriages”, murdering infidels, etc. This is evil, and Islam sanctions every bit of it, but we’ve been told that we must respect “one of the world’s great religions” because it’s a religion. Following 9/11, the only thing George W. Bush knew about Islam was that it was a religion, and that apparently was a good enough reason for him to exonerate it as he did. And his advisor on Islam, David Forte, told Bush exactly what he wanted to hear, that “Nothing this evil could come from religion.” But 9/11 did come from a religion. Whatever else 9/11 was, it was an act of faith.
And Bush saying “Islam is peace” shortly after 9/11 gave the enemy a gift they couldn’t have foreseen. Here was the one man who was charged to defend America from their attack and here he was defending the very ideology that motivated the attackers. Honesty is the best policy in general, and when it comes to war, it’s a moral imperative to find out the truth, to tell the truth and to act on the truth, no matter what sacred cow is killed in the process. And so a big part of why nearly 3,000 victims of jihad on 9/11 haven’t been avenged is because of respect for religion, even for a religion that calls for our destruction.

The Queen's Riddle
When Barack Obama met with Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen of
England , he asked her . . "Your Majesty, how do you run such an efficient
government? Are there any tips you can give me?"
"Well," said the Queen, "The most important thing is to surround yourself with
intelligent people."
Obama frowned, and then asked, "But how do I know if the people around me are really
intelligent?"
The Queen took a sip of champagne. "Oh, that's easy; you just ask them to answer an
intelligent riddle, watch"
The Queen pushed a button on her intercom. "Please send Tony Blair in here, would you?"
Tony Blair walked into the room and said, "Yes, your Majesty?"
The Queen smiled and said, "Answer me this please Tony. Your mother and father have a child.
It is not your brother and it is not your sister. Who is it?"
Without pausing for a moment, Tony Blair answered, "That would be me."
"Yes! Very good." said the Queen.
Obama went back home to ask Joe Biden the same question. "Joe, answer this for me." "Your mother and your father have a child. It's not your brother and it's not your sister. Who is it?"
"I'm not sure," said Biden. "Let me get back to you on that one."
He went to his advisers and asked everyone, but none could
give him an answer.
Frustrated, Biden went to work in congressional gym and saw
Paul Ryan there.
Biden went up to him and asked, "Hey Paul, see if you
can answer this question."
"Shoot Joe."
“Your mother and father have a child and it's not your
brother or your sister. Who is it?"
Paul Ryan answered, "That's easy, it's me!"
Biden smiled, and said, "Good answer Paul!"
Biden then, went back to speak with President Obama. "Say, I did some research and I have the answer to that
riddle." "It's Paul Ryan!"
Obama got up, stomped over to Biden, and angrily yelled into
his face, "No! You idiot! It's Tony Blair!"
. . . AND THAT MY FRIENDS IS PRECISELY WHAT'S GOING ON AT

A Perpetual State of Astonishment

The Obama Media Blackout
By: John Hayward at Human Events
Let’s see if we can unravel one of the great mysteries of the Obama Administration. The latest invocations of the Incompetence Defense from President Obama, Eric Holder, and now the departing Acting IRS Commissioner (hilariously described by the Associated Press as “ousted,” even though he’s leaving exactly when he was originally scheduled to depart, in June) hold that all of these super-genius leaders found out about various outrages by watching the news, along with the rest of us. They have no idea what their subordinates do every day, until it blows up into a huge scandal on the evening news, and that’s why they should be left in charge of everything.Obama said it about the IRS scandal. Although he now claims to be angry about it, he didn’t say a single word about these outrageous abuses of power until a reporter specifically asked him about it during a joint press conference with British Prime Minister David Cameron on Monday, four days after the news broke. ”I first learned about it from the same news reports that I think most people learned about this,” the President claimed. ”I think it was on Friday.”
Aren’t there people who are supposed to brief the President on important events? Do those people still have their jobs today? If so, why? Besides rushing out to comment on his own initiative, rather than waiting until the topic was raised by the press at a completely unrelated media event, wouldn’t a truly concerned President demand the resignation of the staffers who failed him so utterly that he had to learn about the worst scandal of his Presidency by watching TV or reading a newspaper?
Then we heard Attorney General Eric Holder claim the White House only learned about the Associated Press phone scandal by reading the newspapers:
When asked about the suspicious “lobbying” efforts of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to squeeze money for ObamaCare “education” from the same insurance companies she regulates, Holder replied, “I think you might be referring to what I only read about in the newspapers involving what HHS is doing with implementation of the Act. I don’t know whether or not… what funds are being used or whether that letter would apply to that effort. I just don’t know.”
So he only learns about Administration misadventures by reading the newspapers, too.
And now the outgoing Acting IRS Commissioner, Steven Miller – who will remain on the job until the previously scheduled end of his temporary assignment in June, even though the President falsely portrayed him as sacked over the scandal – said in testimony before the House Ways and Means Committee that he learned crucial details about the case by reading them “in the newspaper.”
Good heavens, it seems as if an awful lot of high-ranking people in this Administration learn about their own departments from the papers and evening news broadcasts! And they’re totally out of the loop on everything. They live in a state of perpetual astonishment, picking up important information from the news only days before they have to give press conferences or testify before Congress.
Maybe that’s because Barack Obama relentlessly demonizes the only major media outlet that routinely reports on such things: Fox News. No sooner had he been sworn into his second term than he blasted the network as an obstacle against bipartisan compromise. ”I think what we really have to do is change some of the incentive structures so that people feel liberated to pursue some common ground,” said the President. ”One of the biggest factors is going to be how the media shapes debates. If a Republican member of Congress is not punished on Fox News or by Rush Limbaugh for working with a Democrat on a bill of common interest, then you’ll see more of them doing it.”
He’s described them as a “television station entirely devoted to attacking my Administration.” When his spokesman Jay Carney was asked earlier this week why Obama hadn’t spoken with the Attorney General about the AP phone scandal, Carney sneered, “Imagine the story on Fox if that happened.”
As far back as 2009, the Obama Administration described Fox News as a “wing of the Republican Party.” Then-White House communications director Anita Dunn said of Fox, “They take their talking points, put them on the air, take the opposition research, put them on the air. And that’s fine. But let’s not pretend they’re a news network the way CNN is.”
Here’s a twofer from 2009, where Obama attacked both Fox News and the Tea Party: ”So, when you see – those of you who are watching certain news channels that on which I’m not very popular and you see folks waving tea bags around, let me just remind them that I am happy to have a serious conversation about how we are going to cut our health care costs down over the long term, how we are going to stabilize Social Security.”
Gosh, I wonder where the IRS ever got the idea to persecute those “folks waving tea bags around?”
There are plenty more examples. Obama and his top people whine about Fox News incessantly. But if they were watching Fox instead of the Obama-approved networks that work so hard to bury stories inconvenient to President Boyfriend, maybe these buffoons would know more about the Administration’s failures, and sooner.

Arrogance on Display
They're Marines, Mr. President, not Butlers...
Russ VaughnWell Obama may have kept his makeup from running, but the public relations hole he's digging for himself just got deeper. Of course, someone else is sure to get the blame for the incomparable insolence demonstrated by this clueless commander-in-chief when he imperiously summoned two young, Marine NCO's to stand in the rain and hold umbrellas over his royal highness and Turkish Premier Erdogan. This pic and this one say it all.
The military community, that is all those except the politically-correct, perfumed princes in the Pentagon, are genuinely ticked over this public display of ignorance and contempt for military tradition. It is a particularly egregious offense because, as many veterans are pointing out, male military personnel aren't even supposed to carry umbrellas when in uniform. A partial concession has been made for females, most likely due to the need to protect hair and makeup and thus, their general appearance.
If you want to get a taste of the reaction in the military community, go over to my favorite military blog, This Ain't Hell (but you can see it from here) and read the comments. Warning: strong language. One of the commenters there included a link to the photo page of the 173rd Airborne Brigade which shows how a bunch of battle-hardened paratroopers deals with hard rain
during a public ceremony. Notice how soaked those uniforms are. Of
course the VIP's and visiting dignitaries are under a roofed pavilion,
something the White House staff might have given consideration to in
setting up this botched press conference.
Our metrosexual commander-in-chief should understand that those Marines are not his butlers.

A Pattern of Abuse
Tyranny: Perhaps the most sinister aspect of the president's parade of scandals is that just days before they broke, he mocked as paranoid those concerned about government excesses.
On May 5, while giving the commencement address at Ohio State University, President Obama advised graduates to put all their trust in government and reject those shrill "voices" that say it's the source of our problems.
Ignore these limited-government types, he told the class of 2013, who warn "tyranny lurks just around the corner."
Only, Obama himself has proved our fears are well-founded. Government, particularly governance by this rogue regime, needs more checks, not fewer; more skepticism, not less. Tyranny isn't lurking around the corner. It's now upon us, manifest in the pattern of misuse and abuse of government power by this presidency, as revealed in its:
• Siccing the IRS on its political enemies.
• Seizing the home phone records of journalists.
• Opening more criminal investigations of press leaks than all previous presidents combined.
• Intimidating and silencing government whistle-blowers.
• Doctoring CIA intelligence reports to cover up national security failures.
• Framing private lenders and other businesses for civil-rights violations.
• Funneling settlement funds from banks to Democrat nonprofit groups who weren't even party to cases, including those that exist solely to shake down banks for risky loans and payola.
• Interfering in and sabotaging Supreme Court cases to protect unconstitutional prosecutorial weapons used against financial institutions.
• Running guns to foreign druglords and covering up their link to a federal agent's death.
It's no coincidence that the political timelines of the IRS and Justice Department fishing expeditions, as well as the Benghazi cover-up, all line up with Democrat political campaigns.
This is the government we have trusted to be the custodian of our personal medical records? This is the government we have trusted to police every consumer credit transaction?
It is imperative that Republicans now move legislation to repeal ObamaCare and Dodd-Frank, while immediately blocking further funding to enforce and implement new health and financial regulations.
As we have warned over and over again in the last four years, this is an exceedingly power-hungry president who has no respect for the Constitution or rule of law. He will continue to run roughshod over our individual rights and economic freedoms — if we continue to let him.

Is the Dam of Lies About to Burst?
By Alan
Caruba
Usually
there are signs a dam is about to burst. Tiny cracks show up, the structure
makes strange noises, and then, whoosh! That’s what we are witnessing as the
President, the former Secretary of State, and the Attorney General struggle to
keep the bulwark of lies and half-truths they have built intact. It is showing
signs of collapse.
Liberals
say absurd things all the time—mostly because they either don’t know the facts
or because they prefer to ignore or obfuscate them. The current example is the
shout-it-from-the-rooftops claim that Republicans are “politicizing” the events
in Benghazi that left a U.S. ambassador and three security personnel dead.
In the
wake of the House hearings on May 8th, the most elemental politics
is at work within the White House and that is the decision to abandon Hillary
Clinton. The decision to appoint her Secretary of State was political and,
since the President sets foreign policy, it kept her wing of the party in the
tent while affording the White House the opportunity to keep her conveniently
on the road and largely out of the spotlight.
Name a
single treaty or significant foreign policy achievement of Hillary Clinton’s
time as Secretary of State. Zero. Zip. Nada. Nienta.
Consider
the meltdown of influence the United States has had in the Middle East where
the single act of a Tunisian peddler who committed suicide as a response to the
harassment of the police set off a revolution that drove its dictator from
office and then spread rapidly to Libya where Gaddafi was killed and to Egypt
where its dictator (and ally of the U.S.) was driven from office with the
President’s blessing. And, for two years, the U.S. has stood on the sidelines
and watched as the Syrian dictator has slaughtered 70,000 Syrians, driving some
2.5 million to flee to Turkey and Jordan.
It has
taken eight months since the September 11, 2012 attack on the Benghazi
consulate and a House committee hearing to learn the truth as to why repeated
requests for increased security assets were denied in a nation that is still
essentially a war zone between the north and the south. We still do not know
who told available forces to stand down. The President and his regime call this
“politicizing.”
Beyond
Benghazi, every decision the President makes or chooses not to make has
political implications. The choice to go to bed the night of the attack and
then fly to a fundraiser the following day was political. As Commander-in-Chief
he had responsibility to issue the orders to protect his diplomats—our diplomats—but
he is also the Great Delegator and, as the noose tightens around Hillary, she
is very expendable.
It’s a
political decision to exploit the murders in a Connecticut elementary school to
attack the Second Amendment and gun ownership. The response of ordinary people
was to go out and buy a gun. Indeed, fear of the White House’s intentions has
made the President the greatest gun salesman in the nation.
Even in
the Obama Justice Department there is the odor of deception that still reeks
from the bungled gun-running program called “Fast and Furious” which allowed
guns purchased In the U.S. to be transferred to various Mexican drug cartels.
The result, in one case, was a dead U.S. Border Patrol officer, an ICE agent,
and an unknown number of Mexican cartel victims. It took a presidential executive order to throw a blanket of silence over the
role of the Justice Department in this lethal debacle. That’s political.
Now we
learn that the Justice Department obtained Associated Press phone records in a
probe to discover the source of a leaked story. AP officials called it a
“massive and unprecedented intrusion” into how a news organization gathers
news. The ever-reliable, politically-correct, liberally oriented AP has become
a crack in the dam.
The
revelation that the Internal Revenue Service “targeted” the Tea Party,
patriotic, and pro-Israel groups for special attention regarding their tax
status now adds to a growing sense of a regime without any internal limits on
its exercise of power.
The result
is a period in which the barely concealed scorn of the President, his wife, and
those around him in appointed and elected office has half the population
outraged while the other half is content to live parasitically, not paying
taxes, and receiving an amazing array of benefits which a bankrupt nation
cannot afford.
When
enough people—citizens, voters, taxpayers—think they are being lied to and
betrayed by those in high office, the dam of lies will begin to show signs of
bursting under the pressure of their pent up anger.

There are actually two messages here. The first is very interesting, but the second is absolutely astounding - and explains a lot.

Check this last set of statistics!!
The percentage of each past president's cabinet who had worked in the private business sector prior to their appointment to the cabinet. You know what the private business sector is... a real-life business, not a government job. Here are the percentages.
T. Roosevelt.................... 38%

Wilson ........................... 52%
Harding.......................
Coolidge......................
Hoover........................
F. Roosevelt................... 50%
Truman........................
Eisenhower................ .... 57%

Nixon.........................
Ford..........................
Carter........................
Reagan........................
GH Bush......................... 51%
Clinton .......................... 39%
GW Bush........................ 55%
Obama..................... 8%
This helps to explain the incompetence of this administration: only 8% of them have ever worked in private business!
That's right! Only eight percent---the least, by far, of the last 19 presidents! And these people are trying to tell our big corporations how to run their business?
How can the president of a major nation and society, the one with the most successful economic system in world history, stand and talk about business when he's never worked for one? Or about jobs when he has never really had one? And when it's the same for 92% of his senior staff and closest advisers? They've spent most of their time in academia,
government and/or non-profit jobs or as "community organizers." They should have been in an employment line.
Pass this on because we'll NEVER see these facts in the main stream media.

Watch Out for Petraeus
Call it “Oval Office Couch Syndrome.”
By their second term “inside the bubble,” presidents have completely lost touch with reality: Aides and confidants conspire to keep the chief executive insulated from the real world — the bad news, the worse press coverage. They think it’s their job, and lounging on the Oval Office couches, they nod along with the president’s every musing.
But this presidency has taken OOCS to new heights. Mr. Obama has only a few trusted aides, and occasional leaks from the West Wing show a paranoid president suspicious of nearly everyone around him. Supremely confident, convinced by the fawning minions at his feet that he is untouchable, the president dismisses all controversy as partisan attacks by an overzealous opposition. A pliant press corps of stenographers follows in lockstep.
Not surprisingly, every president in the past 60 years has had a major scandal in Term 2: Dwight Eisenhower had the U-2 “incident”; Richard Nixon had Watergate; Ronald Reagan had Iran-Contra; Bill Clinton had Monica (literally); George W. Bush had Katrina (and let’s not forget those WMDs that never turned up); and now, this president has Benghazi.
Make no mistake: Benghazi is a major scandal. Benghazi is a scandal before, during and after the terrorist attack that left four Americas dead, including an ambassador.

The Truth is Starting to be Revealed
Benghazi: Hillary Could Eat Kittens While Stomping on a Naked Granny and the “Media” Would Hail It as ‘Poetry'
Hillary better thank her god, The Father of Lies, that she’s not a conservative like Sarah Palin, because if she were a conservative, after last week’s blistering testimony against her by the Benghazi whistle blowers, all news outlets, far and wide, would be yelling “off with conservative Hillary’s head”.But not The Original, Leftist, Hillary.
Original Hillary gets a pass.
Yep, the numb-nuts that make up the ubiquitous fake news organizations gave scant to zero coverage of the testimonies that completely contradicted Mrs. Clinton’s account of the Benghazi Massacre. For instance, MSNBC gave no live coverage for the Benghazi hearings last week but gave Hillary a stonking five hours-plus for her scat-laden report back in January. How sweet.
By the way, didn’t a 1974 Hillary Clinton demand to know what Nixon knew and when he knew it regarding the Watergate break in? Yes, I believe she did. Google it for me, will you?
Oddly enough, Hillary has moved from that inquisitive footing to the 2013 posture of a “what difference does it make?” maiden when it comes to the compost in which her tall-tale is ensconced.
Madame Secretary, the difference that it makes is great, primarily to grieving friends and relatives of the abandoned American ambassador, Chris Stevens, the information officer Sean Smith, and former Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty. It also makes a difference to America, especially if you lied your backside off to us in a sick and twisted cover up. That’s what difference it makes, you calloused woman. Vive la difference.

Real Gun Control
Mossberg 500 Bantam(Photo credit: Wikipedia) |
Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza,
26, probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11-year-old
Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home.
It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they
were in Montana
and Patricia had been a clay-shooting champion since she was nine.
Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men
broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's
room and grabbed his 12-gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.
Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to
be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's
knee-crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals.
When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to
the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death
before medical help could arrive.
It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen
45-caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim,
50-year-old David 0'Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the
chest.
Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS,
MSNBC, CNN, or ABC news........?

The 5 Questions Most Feared By Men
1. What are you thinking about?
2. Do you love me?
3. Do I look fat in this?
4. Do you think she is prettier than me?
5. What would you do if I died?
2. Do you love me?
3. Do I look fat in this?
4. Do you think she is prettier than me?
5. What would you do if I died?
What makes these questions so
difficult is that every single one is guaranteed to explode into a
major argument if the man answers incorrectly (ie. tells the truth).
Therefore, as a public service, each question is analysed below, along
with possible responses.
A. Football.
B. Golf.
C. How fat you are.
D. How much prettier she is than you
E. How I would spend the insurance money if you died.
QUESTION #2: Do you love me? The proper response is: "YES!" or, if you feel a more detailed answer is in order "Yes, dear". Inappropriate responses include:
A. Oh yeah, shit loads!
B. Would it make you feel better if I said yes?
C. That depends on what you mean by love.
D. Does it matter?
E. Who, me?
QUESTION #3: Do I look fat? The correct answer is an emphatic: "Of course not!" Among the incorrect answers are:
A. Compared to what?
B. I wouldn't call you fat, but you're not exactly thin.
C. A little extra weight looks good on you.
D. I've seen fatter.
E. Sorry what did you say? I was just thinking about how I would spend the insurance money if you died.
QUESTION #4: Do you think she's prettier than me? Once again, the proper response is an emphatic: "Of course not!" Incorrect responses include:
A. Yes, but you have a better personality
B. Not prettier, but definitely thinner
C. Not as pretty as you when you were her age
D. Define pretty
E. Sorry what did you say? I was just thinking about how I would spend the insurance money if you died.
QUESTION #5: What would you do if I died? A definite no-win question. (The real answer, of course, is "Buy a BMW and a Boat").

A Message From a Texan
Now the news media will spend days trying to determine why these men
did what they did in Boston. They will want to know what America did to
make these brothers so angry with us. They will want to know why these
men were not arrested before they did something unlawful. The media
will be in a tissy about the new era of home grown radicals and about
how they could live among us and still hate us.
Here in west Texas, I have rattlesnakes on my place. I have killed a rattlesnake on the front porch. I have killed a rattlesnake on the back porch. I have killed rattlesnakes in the barn, in the shop and on the driveway. I kill every rattlesnake I encounter. I kill rattlesnakes because a rattlesnake will bite me and inflict me with poison. I don’t stop to wonder why a rattlesnake will bite me. It will bite me because it is a rattlesnake and that is what rattlesnakes do. I don’t try to reason with a rattlesnake…I just kill it. I don’t try to get to know the rattlesnake better so that I can find a way to live with the rattlesnakes and convince them not to bite me…I just kill them. I don’t quiz a rattlesnake to see if I can find out where the other snakes are because (a) it won’t tell me (b) I already know that they live on my place…I just kill the rattlesnake and move on to the next one. I don’t look for ways that I might be able to change the rattlesnake to a non-poisonous rat snake. I just kill it. Oh, and on occasion I kill a rat snake, because I thought it was a rattlesnake at the time. Also, I know that for every rattlesnake that I kill, two more lurk out there. In my lifetime I will never be able to rid my place of rattlesnakes. Do I fear them? No! Do I respect what they can do to me? Yes! And because of that respect I give them their fair justice….I kill them.
Maybe as a country we should give more credit to the jihadist just being rattlesnakes!
