Solving the Unemployment Problem

It seems that the drop in the unemployment rate may have primarily due to some 1.2 million people that are no longer counted as unemployed since they have given up looking for a job. What a great idea! Now if we could only get the rest of the unemployed to simply quit looking for a job then our "official" unemployment rate would drop to 0%. There - problem solved.
